Salam semua....haiiiii...apa khabar? Terima kasihlah sebab sudi jugak jenguk dapur akak walaupun x berasap 3 4 hari ni...bz sangat2 dari hari rabu hari tu, balik kerja malam tu terus jek bancuh adunan cookies ni untuk anak akak Najwa...dia nak bawak balik ke Arau pulak...pastu hari khamis malam balik kerja buat pulak roti 2 jenis n kek chiffon jugak tuk dia...tapau gak untuk Najiha kat Shah Alam tu..petang Jumaat balik kerja siap2 terus ke Gombak, malam tu dah la hujan jek otw ke Gombak tu...pg sabtu akak shoot ke Arau, Ahad petang bertolak balik dari Padang Besar, kul 2.00 pagi Isnin sampai Gombak...huhuu...teramatlah letih...So meh la layan cookies yang rangup di tepi tp "chewy" ditengahnya...Abanglong, Aiman n Najwa sangat2 suka, siap jek masak nak tunggu sejuk kat redai, diaorg dah hentam 3 ke 4 keping sorang malam tu...sangat berbaloi!! Nasib baik Najwa tolong bakar n clearkan sinki malam tu..akak dah x larat sgt...esoknya pi kerja pulak...

Resepi akak kutip dari dapur Martha Stewart nih...really nice and recommended! Why not you give it a try.....sorry akak malas nak translate...kita letih lg nih....nak lipat kain japgi..

SOFT AND CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Ingredients (Makes about 3 dozen) *I doubled the ingredients... ^__^
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature (*I used SCS brand)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups (about 12 ounces) semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips (*I used Van Houten choc chips + button chips)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the butter with both sugars; beat on medium speed until light and fluffy. Reduce speed to low; add the salt, vanilla, and eggs. Beat until well mixed, about 1 minute. Add flour mixture; mix until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  2. Drop heaping tablespoon-size balls of dough about 2 inches apart on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake until cookies are golden around the edges, but still soft in the center, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven, and let cool on baking sheet 1 to 2 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack, and let cool completely. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature up to 1 week.

Najwa sedang patahkan cookies ni...tengok serupa tak dgn makcik Martha punyer..hehe
